Here I go again….talking about another top ranking for Indianapolis, right on the heels of an earlier study which landed Indy as the #6 “Business Climate” city in the U.S. This week in their newsletter, Techpoint released a study by the Praxis Strategy Group which compiled technology growth data at 2, 5, and 10 year intervals, industry concentration, and 5 & 10 year growth momentum to determine which US cities were actually realizing technology sector gains. Indianapolis ranked 11th out of 51 cities, far outpacing our Midwest neighbors: Minneapolis (23rd), Cleveland (38th) and Chicago (47th)!
By my association with the many emerging and growing tech companies for whom I have served as real estate advisor through my company, CARMEN Commercial Real Estate Services, the results of the Praxis study come as no surprise. Indianapolis continues to be a great incubator of the entrepreneurial spirit & innovative thinking, and a positive business environment for growth & success.
